Your best mobile photo for £50: and the winner is...

Patrick for the shot below. One advantage smartphone cameras have is that they can be used anytime to capture special moments. This was one of few entries to capture a living being and everything about it sums up why smartphone cameras are so useful. Thanks to all of you who entered the competition- lots of entries this time.

Thanks Shaun, that'll buy the dog food for the next month.

Hey!!... that's a dog. Well... can't always win :-). I did go for the water and rocks subject but looks like Shaun's mood was somewhat different.

Very cool Patrick. Give a hug to your friend in the picture, will you? ;-)

Thanks Peter, Rui. She gets hugged a plenty as is but I'll pass one on from you, Rui. For what it's worth, I thought your photo would've won.

I'm pretty sure she is well loved. I don't have any pets presently but I'd love to - I grew up with cats and dogs around me and I do remember those days.

And thank you: I appreciate your remark about my photo. Above all I think some photos capture an unique moment and somehow I chose that one because it transmitted me serenity and I had just left a stressful work - it touched me in a sense.
