Sennheiser IE 800's
Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 2:00AM I think I could live with a pair of Sennheiser IE 800's if I had a spare $1,000 lying around. Always loved the company's products and can only imagine how good these will be. More at SlashGear.

This is the kind of thing that I wish with all my heart I could a) justify purchasing and b) afford! But using something like this with lossy music on an iPod or mobile phone would be a pure waste. You'd have to find a sound rig worthy of this level of IEM. But man, do I wish I could.
They're not worth the money Donald. Law of diminishing returns as always.
I have found ear canals are very uncomfortable for long listening and now use over the ear for everything.
My portable cans are the Bose Ae2i. They are extremely comfy and offer a good sound.
Well my IE-40's (same as UE Triple Fi Pro 10 - just different marketing name) are IEMs and offer divine sound. I paid $400 for them 4 or 5 years ago. BUT, they're a pain to put in and take out and I find myself not using them often. My best current cans are my Grado SR-60's which I use with the Fiio amp (at least until I can afford the Little Dot!). But these still look attractive even so! :-(
