Question: Software fixes?

Have you used any apps to fix native hardware problems on your smartphone? I have used Volume+ on the Nexus which works quite well, but I am still looking for a solution to the unnatural colours on screen which does not require rooting.

Not yet.

Did you use the free version of volume+? I gather the full version is available from developers website free if you sign up to their forums.

Was this volume + by Meltus

I use Voodoo Louder on my SG2 but it requires rooting. Not a bad little boost for my external speaker.

I've just discovered Android took away "pause" in video recording when I updated it to OS 4.x... what's that about? And that after I was amazed my ex's new iphone couldn't do it either!! So yeah, I may need to start looking for a way to do that now.

Just installed NtfsSd to allow me to mount an NTFS microSD in my S3.

Ext4 would be fine except that for some reason Ext4 cards cause my Prime to randomly reboot. It natively supports NTFS and that works fine. I want to be able to switch the card between the two devices.

I'm going to see if the Voodoo sound thingy supports the S3 yet; I know they were saying it should be do-able.
