How many mobile contracts are running in your household and what type are they? We have 3 monthly contracts and a mobile broadband contract as well. Probably totalling £75 / month.
We have four contracts on three users. All of them has unlimited call, sms and mms and 10 GB data with full speed (32 Mbit/s) and over 10 GB the speed is capped and totalling 120 euros / month
Three contracts here. A heavy use Vodafone one for my daughter. A light weight Vodafone for my wife and I with a (700Mb each) data plan attached. And the Three contract for lifetime unlimited free calls which we will hang on to until Vodafone (who own Three) make us an offer we can't refuse to let it go. The best they have managed so far is the same plan for $5 per month as opposed to $0 per month; do they think we are stupid?
My wife and I are both on 3 deals, 12m sim only plan at £10.36 each, we get 300 voice minutes, 2000 3 to 3 voice minutes, 1gb data and 3000 texts. Blistering deal.
Wife and I on T-Mobile for smartphones. Wife ipad on Vodafone My HTC Flyer on Vodofone For business I use one smartphone on O2 and another (legacy contract) on Vodafone And to broadband connections at home for business continuity!
One family plan between my wife and I. 400 shared minutes and 1GB shared data per month. Unlimited texts. Along with voicemail and a couple of other add ons, the cost is $148 a month. I have done some comparing and it's about the best I can get for what I want. That's Rogers in Canada.
I love how the US plans allow to share, and notice we are only now starting to get similar offers, unfortunately was just too late.
We have two mobile plans - heavy on minutes, texts and data (as we both use a lot of minutes and I use loads of data - plus wife has her Blackberry addon thingy so her phone can actually work - Samsung why did it take you so long to bring out a decent blackberry android phone). Plus we have the home phone and broadband connection (mobile signal isn't good enough to live off where we are).
1 plan. I use my company's plan, don't pay anything - just voice and SMS. I can use some data, but not much. My wife has a plan that is about 12,5EUR each 2 months. Other than that our TV/Internet/Phone service provides cable with good speeds and we use wifi at home.
