What mobile devices do you take on holiday (vacation) with you and why? I tend to take the iPhone and iPad / Nexus 7- not sure which tablet will get the honour next time yet.
I am currently sitting on a balcony in Spain watching the sun rise over the bay. I am typing this on my Xperia Mini Pro. Behind me is my Archos Tablet which I have brought because it has a couple of reasonably sounding speakers. We listen to music on the balcony in the evenings with a scented candle on the table. (My wife brought the candle) I also have my iPod but it's still sitting in the case.
For my next vacation I will probably be carrying my Lumia 800 (main phone, Zune music, navigation), Nexus 7 (video, ebooks) and MacBook Air (who needs an iPad?)...
iPhone and iPad. What I don't take any more is my MacBook. And if I really need to get at something on the MacBook, I can use LogMeIn. Between the free one and Dropbox, I have access to everything I can think of. I tend not to do much heavy duty computing when I'm on vacation.
It's actually going to be an interesting decision when it's time for a new Mac whether I get the laptop or a Mac Mini.
Hey Graham, it's possible that you are sitting at the Balcony of Europe in Nerja? - just a thought - I was there a couple of years ago and it's very pleasant indeed.
With me goes the smartphone (communications and gaming for kids), the tablet (PIM, web, and gaming for kids) and a USB charger.
I have been to Nerja and it is a lovely place. I am actually in a town called Calella de Palafrugel. It has the beauty of Cornwall with the added bonus of sunshine!
iPhone & Macbook Pro (though I'm staying in the country - probably wouldn't take the MBP if I went abroad.
I don't have a tablet (yet). I must be the only LIM regular without one, otherwise I'd definitely take one.
Reason I haven't got one is 1) cost of iPad, 2) been previously tempted by HTC Flyer at 7", so the Nexus 7 looks appealing, ad 3) waiting for a 7" iPad
Might be waiting a while though, so might bite the bullet soon

I take them all. They're called "mobile" for a reason!

I hope you all enjoy your day at work :-)
Phone and a tablet.
At home off work this week enjoying the fog and rain while drinking coffee in the garden, on my deck chair :-)
