I have boys aged 6 and 8. They are masters with these tech devices. Of course that I teach them everything there is to know about them. If they get all that I don't know but they keep it inside and it won't be a strange subject if they bump into something in the future - that's one thing I have learned from them - show them exactly how things work/are even if they look complex. They will get an overall idea and they will make a connection later on in their lives when they run into that subject. I'm surprised that they already have a notion of what internet is. How one gets the software, the loading and installing features, progress bars... etc, etc...
But I don't encourage the usage, that's for sure. Just occasional.
