mightytext: iMessage and more for Android

Some of the features in MightyText really do appeal to me- got to give this one a try.

» SMS from your computer or tablet

» Uses your current Android phone number

» Instant notifications

» See who's calling you...from your computer

» Left your phone in car? Forgot it at home? No worries

» "iMessage for Android"

I think I get all that (and more) with Google Voice. Who's calling me...if my phone is farther away from me than my computer then I can wait until it is a 'missed call' or a 'voicemail', all of which I get from Google Voice. Plus I get transcripts (not the best though).

Why use MightyText?

Looks as though there's been a real marketing blitz on this today; I'm a little suspicious of some of the tweets and Google Play reviews.

Seems very similar to TabletTalk, which is a very useful app despite a few issues.
