Some great products announced by Amazon today. The Kindle paperwhite looks like it solves the major downsides of the current Kindles and is at the top of my shopping list already. The 7" Kindle Fire HD would appear to offer extraordinary value, even better than the Nexus 7, and the 8.9" Kindle Fire HD 4G comes with the option of a plan at $49.99 annually for 250MB per month. Oh, and the current ad-supported non-touch Kindle is down to $69.
Of course, few of these prices will translate well to Europe and other areas of the world because, like Apple, Amazon does tend to offer its best pricing in the US. However, I am sold on the Paperwhite and maybe the new 7" Fire is worth a look as well. How about you?
And you will be able to sync between an audiobook and the text version- how cool is that?
