Kindle Paperwhite Will Not See an International Release until 2013

Bad news for those of us hoping to pick up the Kindle Paperwhite soon.

From Goodereader- "Sources at Amazon have informed us today that the new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite will not see the light of day in major international markets until 2013. The company intends on marketing it exclusively in the USA until after the crucial holiday season. This will prevent customers in Canada, UK, Europe, Australia and other countries from purchasing it directly from Amazon."

Maybe Amazon believes this product to be so good that they are afraid that the initial manufacturing run will barely cover the domestic market.
Of course the other reason could be related to included content only being licenced to the USA. As we all know, international shipping of digital versions of books is far more complex that chunks of processed wood pulp.
