It's what you do when not looking at the screen that counts
Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2:59AM So much of our thoughts surrounding smartphones consider what we are doing when using them directly. This of course makes sense, but the reason I use my iPhone much more than my Google Nexus is what happens when I am not staring at it.
The sound from the tiny speaker when playing Podcasts or music, the battery life and the way it feels in the hand or pocket. For me, the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III have got these areas right and it could explain why their users appear to be so happy with the products they have bought.
It isn't always what happens on the screen, but the entire package and how all of that comes together to create an experience that works no matter what you are doing.

You're right here. And I keep saying, the day Samsung comes up with better materials than plastic for the case they will move ahead of Apple.
