Instapaper for Android: a small landmark has passed
Monday, June 4, 2012 at 12:37PM Here's a release I didn't expect to be writing about any time soon- Instapaper for Android. Marco has repeatedly talked about the lack of the app on Android on his podcast and the fact it has now come out, albeit with the development contracted out to Mobelux, is a big thing. Flipboard is now on Android and so is every other iOS app I use apart from TomTom which is the mainstay that I would love to see on the platform.

"Save web pages for later offline reading, optimized for readability on your tablet or phone's screen. Critically acclaimed by top blogs, newspapers, and magazines!
Great for long articles and blog posts that you find during the day and would like to read, but don't have the time when you find them. Save with Instapaper, then read later when you're commuting, in a meeting, or waiting in line."

I'm surprised too. There are now no apps sacred to ios. Google Navigation is free on android and IMO works the best
Google Navigation vs. TomTom- sorry, but there is absolutely no contest between these two. Must do a write up to prove it:)
Google routing is far superior. And has traffic info but not auto traffic re routing.
Shaun. TomTom has a private beta in testing. Apparently available in about a month. Will only work with ICS.
Where's that info come from? My understanding from people in TomTom is that there will be nothing this year.

On tomtom forum.
That comment was posted in April and said 2 months. It looks like hearsay to me and I still don't expect anything for some time, but I would be delighted to be proved wrong.
There was more info later on in that thread. Fingers crossed!
Why dont you try Navigon instead of waiting for Tomtom? Here in Sweden the maps used by Navigon is superior to Tomtom. Often when going to clients out in the country Tomtom never finds their adress but Navigon seldom misses it. And the app itself is much nicer than Tomtoms app and it routes at least as good as Tomtom if not better, try it and I dont think you will be disappointed
