I wonder if I am the only person in the world who has an effective marketing filter?
My brain automatically removes words and phrases like "phenomenal", "incredible", "stunning". So when I watched the iPadMini launch I simply saw a new product, nicely executed, with last year's specification for CPU and ram, this years connector.
Your not alone Paul, though I am a little to the extreme in that advertising like that just turns me off, they all do it mind you just Apple seems to be more prolific..

It's a very American style; I wouldn't expect it to translate particularly well to other countries.
It's a style that turns me off to be honest; in fact I get annoyed by it because I know many will just lap it up without question.
