Hey you're right, it does look a bit like a Lifedrive. The stand is a good idea, but personally I prefer subtle cases that don't tale away the beauty of the original product.
"Or it's just another case that people may want to buy." - another case, right. Just to get on top of that pile of cases on the self ;-) Well... I can say that my "poor" tablet has a quick stand just to give that very same effect and I must have used it 5-10 times in a year... so If the case is affordable, ok, if not, it's not worth the money.

is it just me or does that case make the iPhone look like a Palm Lifedrive? Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
Just another way to rip money out of "Apple-buying-products-people" I guess...
