I bought a 'new' iPad

I finally succumbed and bought the latest iPad. I never thought I needed one, but the Nexus 7 highlighted why an improvement in memory capacity and screen would not be a bad thing.

The opportunity came up to effectively swap my 16GB iPad 2 and a Nexus 7 for a 32GB iPad 3 with 3G with no financial penalty at all. The Nexus was not getting used and this move made sense because I am using the iPad more and more these days for tasks such as Spotify, web browsing, article writing with an attached keyboard and attaching to the TV to watch episodes of House. I push it hard and it responds every time with no complaint and having the extra space takes some of the load off my smartphones in terms of needing to store movies etc.

I will talk more about this tomorrow, but I really am struggling to leave the world of iOS and feel completely comfortable within it at this time.
