Do photos taken with your smartphone ever make the transition to paper or a desktop computer? Mine tend to stay on the smartphone itself, and these are the onesĀ I look at most.
Yes, all my photos are transferred to my PC. I then once I have a 100 or so go online or to a supermarket and have then digitally printed. Obviously I remove the dodgy ones :)
I'm with Shaun here. I just don't like the quality of my phone's or PDA's photos. I do have a compact Nikon camera which goes with me most of the time, so when is needed I use it instead of the Mobile devices. I prefer the diversity of options and ease of use that a proper camera has. Recently I took my kids to the beach to make a "shooting session" to offer their Mom. The handling was superb, I didn't need to worry with batteries, I have used several effects very fast - point-and-shoot so I could record the cildren's expressions. The final output was superb especially after treating the images in Photoshop. I've used 5MP smartphones, but honestly I don't compare it to a 5MP dedicated camera. Moreover, I feel more like a photographer with a camera than with a silly device as a smartphone taking artistic pictures.
